The Orangerie

This old building was one of the few not bombed during World War II. They used it as a place for musical performances because there were not any other building for that after the war. In the winter time they kept the orange trees inside with the other tropical plants so they would not freeze in the cold and snow. Today it is used for concerts and musical events also. The park surrounding it is very pretty and there are many people there on a sunny day.
